Appendix H demonstrates my knowledge of educational software, such as Inspiration, which allows me to create concept maps to help my students view the "big picture" of our curricular units.

Appendix I: Software Review

Appendix I demonstrates my ability to assess software applications and their relevance to educational usage.

Appendix J: Student Autonomy Research Proposal

Appendix J demonstrates my ability effectively conduct research on educational issues and present my findings in a professional format. This particular subject was specific to my goals as a teacher in making my students independently successful learners.

Appendix L: NFA Research Guide

Appendix L is the campus-wide research guide that is used to demonstrate proper researching techniques, as well as citation and work cited formating. I utilize this guide in my research projects to illustrate to students how to effectively document their research.

Appendix M: Academic Integrity PowerPoint

Appendix M demonstrates my use of software, such as PowerPoint, as well as my knowledge of ethical policies like academic integrity. This particular assignment was potentially a presentation for colleagues and professional on the issue.

Appendix N: Future Newspaper Authoring Cycle PowerPoint

Appendix N shows my ability to create lessons that are directed towards students interests and encourage skill such as foreshadowing based on known events, making connections between the past, the present and the future. This activity also requires students to work collaboratively and utilize Microsoft Publisher software.
